About the Supervisory Committee
The Supervisory Committee serves as an independent oversight body for Jefferson Credit Union. The committee helps ensure the credit union operates in accordance with established policies, regulatory requirements, and in the best interest of its members.
The committee is responsible for reviewing internal controls, helping ensure appropriate financial safeguards are in place, and supporting the overall integrity and accountability of credit union operations.
Role Expectations
Members of the Supervisory Committee are expected to:
- Participate in periodic committee meetings
- Review audit and examination reports when applicable
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and member information
- Support the credit union’s commitment to safety, soundness, and member service
Time Commitment
Time commitments may vary depending on audit schedules and committee activity. Members should expect periodic meetings and occasional review responsibilities throughout the year.
Eligibility
Applicants must be members in good standing of Jefferson Credit Union. Additional qualifications or requirements may be considered during the selection process.
