  Jefferson Credit Union is excited to announce its collaboration with The Circle of Love Foundation for the Backpacks for Success Back to School Drive. From now until July 15, we invite you to join us in supporting local students by donating new and unused school supplies.  We're collecting backpacks, pens, pencils, 3-ring binders, notebooks, paper, tissues, hand sanitizer, markers, crayons, folders, and paper towels. Marvel City Caribbean Foods And Music Festival

The Marvel City Caribbean Food and Music Festival which takes place at DeBardeleben Park, Bessemer Alabama and  is a vibrant display of Caribbean culture that starts at 11:00am and runs through 9:00pm.  The event features live Reggae and Steel bands, a variety of performances to include dancing and singing most of which are interactive or include audience participation.   In addition to the music there is a wide selection of food, merchandise, informational and non-profit vendors to satisfy attendees.
